Gallos

It is a common misconception that roosters (gallos) only crow once... at the break of dawn. This is a very large misconception, actually. In fact, roosters crow at every hour, night or day. Thy crow at midnight, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00... etc. All day, every day. I will learn a lot in Guatemala... but this was the first thing I learned! Haha!

  1. I am glad to hear you are learning things there. Just sorry that is one of them. I hope it doesn't just get to annoying. I hope they don't do it at night also!

  3. haha this made me laugh so hard because we have a rooster in my neighborhood that i think is seriously confused cuz he crows at 6 am then again at 10am and then at 12 pm. I wonder who made up the myth that they only crow once!
