When Life Gives You Blankets and Cool Friends...

Bryce and I had a fun double date with Rebekah and Stuart yesterday. We started off the evening by making dinner together (pasta and salad) and then we headed around campus to enjoy some art (also to help Bryce and Stuart with some homework :). Then we went to Fat Cats and spent $2 per couple on the arcade games. Whoever got the most tickets won! Becca and Stuart won the ticket competition, but Bryce and I totally kicked trash in the ski-ball competition! Then, to finish the evening, we came back to our apartment and built a fort.

Here is Becca and Stu inside the fort:)

And Bryce and me....
Inside the fort we had chocolate fondue! We had strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and for some extra fun, we also made blueberry muffins. It was so yummy!!

Inside our fort, we took turns telling one line of a story. The story happened to be about the four of us. We were in Guatemala when we got attacked by flying monkeys.... anyway... the story was hilarious!

What a fun night! I will always love this memory!

Smarty Pants

Here is a sneak peak at Bryce's science project. No, this isn't for a class. This is what Bryce likes to do for fun. Basically it is a thing that you put in your car, and it separates hydrogen from water and then that hydrogen goes into the air intake and then into the gas line..... something like that. Basically it gives you a lot better gas mileage. Anyway. His tests worked.... So we will put an improved version in the Subaru and let you know how it goes. Bryce is a smarty pants. haha

Another Badger Creek Weekend!

We had a long weekend this week, so we decided to make some fun plans, considering the fact that we will have all of Monday to do our homework. Anyway, Bryce thought it would be a good idea to get our friends together to go to Badger Creek. So everyone that could come (Kenton and Stuart) came, and we headed up there! It is so fun to have a fun place to escape to, whenever we want to!

Here is a dark picture of our little cabin we stayed in :)

Here we are getting ready to head out and make a fire. It was about 4 degrees outside. We built a fire, made hot chocolate, and shared some good company!

The next morning, we made our way over to the sledding hill. It was way fun! My favorite part was that we had a pull rope to take us up the hill; so all the hard part was taken care of, and all we had to do was have fun!

There was a beautiful view at the top of the sledding hill, so we took a chance to take a few snap shots.

Here are the boys...So epic :)

And here we are... I love this picture!

Later that day, we found ourselves goofing off, exploring, playing on the low ropes courses, and making snow angels. This is Kenton among our many angels we made.

Then we buried bryce in the snow.

Here is a fun picture of us all together! So cute :)

Anyway. After all that fun, we cleaned up our cabin, packed the car, and then we made another fire for dinner. We roasted hot dogs, and warmed up cans of chili. It was a delicious camping dinner!

I always have and always will love the adventures we have at Badger Creek. I love sharing this special place with friends and family!

Paper Olympics

The other day we had some people over for the first annual PAPER OLYMPICS!!!!
There were multiple events, including: strongest paper tower, paper making, paper plane basketball.. etc. It was way fun! here are a few photos.

Nancy and Kenton with the their paper "tower" it held like... 20 textbooks without collapsing!

Bryce and my tower held Nancy :)

Here are Kenton's, Nancy's, Bryce's, and my paper airplanes with our airplane licenses :)

Then Becca, Stu, and Kelsey joined us for the fun

Here is our epic olympic photo. We look legit!

Indecisive

I'm terrible at singing and at guitar.... and this poor quality video doesn't really help. But enjoy anyway!

A Whole New World Lip Sync

It is a tradition (as of recently) that we do a lip sync each time we drive home to Boise from Rexburg. This is #2. Enjoy!

Dinner Time!

Bryce made dinner tonight, and it was delicious!! He made BBQ baked chicken, baked potatoes, and green beans. SO YUMMY! Thanks Bryce!

Jordan's Baptism

A very special event took place on January 1, 2012. Our good friend, Jordan Ridinger, was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The spirit was so strong at the baptism. I'm not sure if anyone there could deny that they could feel the spirit there. I am completely ecstatic that Jordan is now a member of Christ's church. The blessings gained from being a member are truly indescribable, and I'm so happy that we get to share the blessings with such an amazing friend.

New Years Eve

We had a wonderful New Years Eve Party! All our friends came over to my house, we had a fire, smores, lil smokies, and hot chocolate, all the while watching a movie on a projector Bryce set up in our back yard. The fire, blankets, and wonderful company kept us warm on this beautiful winter night. I have never had so much fun at a NYE party! We watched the movie, and then counted down to the new year as the ball dropped. so fun! here are a couple pictures of who was there!
