Guatemala

It's basically official. I have decided to go have a 6-week adventure with Rebekah and teach English in Guatemala at the end of this semester. We are teaching through a program called the Rose Education Foundation. We will be staying with an LDS family in a city called Patzicia. We will be teaching for a few hours Monday through Friday. It is all volunteer, so we will be paying for our flights and for our room and board. I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I love to teach. I didn't realize that I loved it so much until recently. I am an elementary education major, and I love working with kids! They are so amazing. I look forward to teaching the kids in Guatemala.

If anyone wants to make any donations to send down, let me know. The kids in the ward that I will be at are in need of socks, shoes, underwear, jeans... etc. yah. If you want me to take anything down for you... let me know! You're so great! I'm so excited to have this opportunity!

    Your life does rock! When you know which weeks you will be there let me know. . . . just in case Southwest is having a special on tickets there ;)

    Alesha! hey so i cant find your phone number. Im sorry i didn't save it in my phone. But i just wanted to tell you thanks so much for wanting to help out. Since i can only take two suitcases down, I think I won't need any more help since we have so many people wanting to help in Boise. But thank you so much for being willing to help out! You are so great!
