Our New Apartment

I know it has been about a month since we moved in, but I am finally blogging about our new apartment! Here are a few pictures.... We love our new place! Oh. And I have come to realize that I am not very good at taking a picture of a whole room... It's more like taking pictures of the stuff in a room.... but you will still get the idea, I think :) Prepare yourself for picture overload.

I'm A Little More Official!

I finally got my classroom keys! 

I'm starting to feel even more like a real teacher!

Here are a few pictures of my classroom before I did any work to it.... My classroom is pretty much like an empty canvas that I need to fill. A lot of work to do! I'm super excited! I'll have another post after I am finished making it look cute. :)

The Fourth!

I love the 4th of July! It is definitely one of my favorite holidays. Here are a couple pics of our fourth this year. We spent it in Idaho Falls, which technically, based on the number of shells, has the 2nd best fireworks in the country after Philadelphia! It even apparently beats out Washington D.C and New York City.... I'm not sure if its true, but it is a pretty good show! There is a short video at the bottom of part of the show. It isn't the finale... the fireworks were like this the whole show :)

 

So We Made an Air Conditioner....

One day I told Bryce that I was hot. Because I was sweating. While doing nothing. In my apartment. So, Bryce said, "Let's make an air conditioner." And I said, "Okay." So then we did. We made an air conditioner. With stuff that was laying around the house. My husband is just that cool.

Here is the finished product! 

Granted. It doesn't work amazingly.... but it was still fun to make together! Look what we made with a tub, some computer fans, some ice and a power cord!
